The list of Top 8 electric cars available in India with the price range of Rs. 4.5 Lakhs- Rs. 1.5 Crore. The most popular electric cars include Hyundai Kona Electric (Rs. 24 Lakh), Jaguar I-Pace (Rs. 1.05 Crore), and Mercedes-Benz EQC (Rs. 1.04 Crore). Jaguar I- PACE reaches 100 km/h in 4.8 s. I-PACE’s 90 kWh battery is made up of high energy density lithium-ion pouch cells. It is design and state-of-the-art thermal management system support longevity and periods of sustained maximum power. I-PACE is propelled by two permanent magnet synchronous electric motors. Similar to the technology found in the I‑TYPE Formula E racing car, these motors generate 294 kW and 696 Nm of torque. I-PACE can be charged at an ever-growing number of public charging points with your public charging cable.

Mercedes-Benz EQC price is ₹ 1.14 Crore. The price of the Electric version for EQC is ₹ 1.14 Crore. Mercedes-Benz EQC is a five-seat electric SUV based on the heavily modified version of the GLC. In terms of measurements, the EQC is 105mm longer and sits 315mm lower than the GLC. However, it gets a similar wheelbase of 2,873mm.
The Mercedes-Benz EQC is expected to get a dual-motor setup. This includes one motor on the front axle and one on the rear. It is believed that an 80kWh lithium-ion battery powers the electric motor to produce 402bhp and 765Nm of torque. The production model will get a quick charging option and offer a driving range of 400kms.

MG Motor has launched the 2021 ZS EV starts from Rs 20.99 lakh to Rs 24.18 lakh, with a premium of up to Rs 60,000 over the previous model. The major updates include increased range, raised ground clearance, and a larger tyre aspect ratio. While the 2021 ZS retains the 145PS three-phase permanent synchronous motor, it is backed up by a new 44.5kWH high-tech (HT) battery, pushing its claimed range to 419km. The EV continues to be offered in two variants: Excite and Exclusive. It's available in 31 cities across the country.

Tata Motors has launched an updated version of the Tigor EV in India in 2021, which can now also be bought by individuals. Tata is offering the price of Tata Tigor EV starts from Rs 9.44 lakh. For private buyers, the price starts from Rs 12.59 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.41 lakh. The Tata Tigor EV now uses a 21.5kWh powertrain that drives a 72V 3-Phase AC induction motor. The motor can make 41PS of max power and 105Nm of peak torque. Tata Motors is offering a warranty package of 3 years.

The Nexon EV uses Tata’s Ziptron EV powertrain technology that features a 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery with a claimed range of 312km. It gets an 8-year standard warranty and an IP67 waterproof battery pack. The electric motor has a performance rating of 129PS and 245Nm. It is priced between Rs 13.99 lakh and Rs 16.40 lakh (ex-showroom). The Nexon EV’s battery can be charged from 0-80 percent in 60 minutes. A home wall box charger takes 8 hours to charge it from 20 to 80 percent.
